About James Pascua
James Pascua hails from Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii and lives in Raleigh, NC with his lovely wife.
James is a father of five children and grandfather to 14 grandchildren.
James Pascua began his photographic career in 1976, trained to be a darkroom technician for a prominent professional photographer in the Almaden Valley of San Jose, CA. James later was mentored in sports photography, then portrait photography and wedding photography. Film cameras in that era in 120mm and 35mm were abounding, and that is were James focused on local High School events and socials in the San Francisco Bay Area. James has been published in several books and periodicals over the years.
James is a retired Graduate School Professor, a Veteran and holds professional certifications and terminal degrees in Business, IT and Project Management.
James is a Certified Professional Photographer from the Professional Photographers of America, a designation carried by less than 8% of the photographers in the nation. James is close to achieving his next challenge entering print competitions and earning merits for his Master of Photography designation.
As a life long learner, James is always looking for new challenges in photography and instills that quality in his colleagues, students, and mentees.
My goal is not to be better than anyone else, but to be better than I used to be.

Where is your Studio
Our studio is the world; your world.
We go to the places that you love; your home, favorite lake, grandpa's barn, anywhere we create images that speak to your heart. After years in a retail studio space, we decided to go completely on location.
We are loving it and so are our clients.
We personally meet with you, create your images, present and deliver them to you at home or the office.
What could be easier, more comfortable, and more convenient.
